To improve trash handling, Truelove Properties installed a Mil-tek baler at one of their construction projects. A Mil-tek 306 baler – equivalent in performance to a 406 baler – was installed together with a cage unit and integrated compressor. In less than a week, the site was cleared of cardboard and plastic.
Baling allows for straightforward separation of cardboard and plastic from other construction trash. The volume reduction makes storage and handling far easier, an important benefit on city-based projects where space is at a premium.
The result: a 75% cut in skip usage for Truelove Properties.
