The safety and the operational features make the Mil-tek 205TS a flexible solution that can fit almost any location and contribute to a clean and safe working environment. The long vertical chamber creates a bale almost twice the size of a model 102, while covering a similarly small floor space of about one square metre.
Agro Korn produce animal feed. It is a great example of just how much waste is accumulated in production. A Mil-tek 205 compacts paper sacks, plastic sacks, and big grain bags.
Mitre 10 are a hardware supplies chain in New Zealand. They found that as their business grew, as did the problem of refuse. Mil-tek machinery allows them compact large volumes into small balers.
Puratos supply ingredients for the catering industry. They use a Mil-tek 205 allowing them to hygienically compact paper bags in the working area as they are used, saving them time and money and improving efficiency.
A Mil-tek technician will guide you through installation, which is done by simply connecting your new 205TS Baler to a compressed air supply. You are now ready to start minimizing your waste.
Fill the chamber with cardboard or plastic and close the door. Once the handle is pressed down, the machine is activated and the minimizing has begun. Repeat until the baler is full.
When the baler is ready to be emptied, tie the bale using the banding, open the lower door and press the Bale Out button to release the bale. You are now ready to start a new bale!
A Mil-tek consultant will guide you in making this decision. What you need to know is the approximate amount of e.g. cardboard you generate every day, in what stream and in what sizes it comes. In addition to this you should know how much space you have available for a machine. This basic information combined with your business set-up forms the basis for evaluating which model machine you need.
Your internal working processes and the data available on your trash will provide you with that answer. Together with Mil-tek, we will ensure you find the optimal spot in your workplace.
The machine can stand either indoors or out - most important is that you place the machine so that you sort your waste at source. If you place the machine outside it must be under a roof. Be aware that cold weather conditions can influence the performance of the machine. Your Mil-tek consultant will help to analyze and determine the best place to install the machine.
As they are air-powered (pneumatic) rather than hydraulic, Mil-tek balers are extremely quiet. If you have an existing air-line you simply plug the machine and then your existing compressor acts as the engine. If you need to have a compressor installed, a Mil-tek technician will ensure that the compressor is placed at a distance from the machine and then install an air-hose between the compressor and the machine.
Ideal for baling plastic packaging typically used in the transportation and protection of clothing and consumable items. Constant pressure ensures an extremely dense bale is produced that is both easy to handle and easy to recycle. The baler can also be used to recycle smaller volumes of cardboard in small/medium supermarkets, convenience stores and general retail outlets.
A constant flow of ingredients arriving in cardboard boxes can account for up to 60% of kitchen waste. The small-footprint 205TS baler fits neatly indoors or out to enable baling and recycling of cardboard and plastic. The result is a reduction in disposal costs, a reduction in the amount of space designated to trash and a reduction in the number of dumpster collections and lift frequency.
The 205TS baler has a door opening that is perfect for wine, spirit and food boxes. The baler can be located indoors, close to the source of trash or outside if space is limited. Being air-powered, the baler can safely be placed in an area where food is prepared as there is no risk of hazardous oil spillage. An insert can also be supplied to crush cans and tins with a capacity of up to 30 litres; typical for food, paint or oil cans.
