The two organizations Ecoembes and Minsait joined forces to launch a bold initiative under the project called CircularChain, which aims to improve and support the recycling processes in Spanish waste plants.
CircularChain is a blockchain ecosystem, an open-source network that aims for clarity in waste selection processes.
It also aims to improve efficiency and also streamline the launch of information campaigns related to waste recycling in Spain.
The blockchain network will help every entity in Spain that is connected to waste recycling, including public administrations, local authorities, operators, recyclers, and other industry players, by allowing them to receive and share information and control system data safely.
What’s more, the blockchain ecosystem also aims to make transactions involved in the waste selection and recycling processes happen more rapidly.
The two companies that started the CircularChain project promise that their new technology will make it possible for every waste recycling entity in Spain to have access to a source of truthful information and unalterable record thanks to the use of blockchain technology.
